Two people arrested after a man was stabbed in the chest have been released on bail.
The victim, believed to be in his 30s, was injured following an alleged attack at a home in Bower Street, Maidstone, at around 11.40pm on Sunday.
His injuries are not described as life threatening and his condition is stable.
Police and paramedics attended the property shortly after 11.40pm, along with a road crew from the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance.
After receiving treatment at the scene the casualty was taken to King’s College Hospital in London by road.
Medics from the air ambulance accompanied him en-route.
A 27-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman, both from Maidstone, were arrested on suspicion of assault shortly after midnight on Monday.
They are both believed to be known to the victim and have been released on bail until Friday, April 24.
