Two injured in lorry and car crash on A249
12:25, 02 January 2018
Two people have been injured in a crash involving a car and a lorry on the A249.
Drivers were earlier being told to approach the site near Maidstone with caution.
The west-bound carriageway was shut as the lorry was recovered, between the Stockbury turn-off and the Detling turn-off.
But all traffic is now said to have returned to normal.
Police, ambulance and fire crews were called shortly before midday.
Two people are being treated for injuries but are not thought to be in a life threatening condition.
