Two charged over Maidstone burglary in Vanity Lane, Linton

Two men have been charged following a burglary which saw a Land Rover and jewellery taken.

William Stone, 28, and 43-year-old Lee Ball were both arrested on the same day as the break-in, which took place near Maidstone in Vanity Lane, Linton on Saturday.

A Land Rover, keys, laptop, camera and jewellery were reported stolen.

The following day, Mr Stone of Knockholt Road, Halstead, Sevenoaks and Mr Ball of Gallants Lane, East Farleigh were charged for the crime.

The pair were remanded by Medway Magistrates’ Court today and are set to appear before a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on a date to be confirmed.
