Two teens have been arrested after a stolen bike was recovered.
Police received a report that a teenager's bike had been stolen from a school near Buckland Hill in Maidstone between 10.30am and 3.15pm on Tuesday, November 7.
The victim had only had the bike a month, and had bought it with birthday money.
It had been parked in a bike shed prior to the theft.
At around 2.24pm on Wednesday, two community support officers in Brenchley Gardens spotted the bike being cycled towards Station Road.
Officers recovered the bike, and a 15-year-old boy from Harrietsham was arrested on suspicion of theft.
An 18-year-old from Maidstone was also arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods.
Both were subsequently released under investigation, and inquiries are ongoing.
