King Street and College Road, both in Maidstone, will be affected by necessary works today

A town centre road will be closed today while building works are carried out.
King Street, in Maidstone, is shut between Week Street and Wyke Manor Road to allow workers to access the roof of Colman House.
A huge crane is being used to carry out the task, which is due to be finished by 5pm.
College Road, in Maidstone, is also partially blocked today.
Two lanes will be closed until around 3.30pm while UK Power Network carry out necessary maintenance.
