Police called to two-car crash at junction of Loose Road in Maidstone

A “nasty” crash involving two cars forced both to be recovered from a busy stretch of road.
The collision happened at 5.53am in Loose Road, Maidstone, at the junction of Plains Avenue.
Witnesses at the scene described the smash as “nasty”.
It forced traffic to be delayed while officers investigated the collision this morning.
However, it has since been cleared and the road is open.
A police spokesman said: “We were called at 5.53am this morning to a collision involving two cars in Loose Road.
“Officers attended the scene and arrangements were made to recover the vehicles.”
No injuries were reported during the crash.
