Some residents in West Farleigh and Yalding have woken up to find they have no power this morning after heavy rain and strong winds overnight.
UK Power Networks said that a fault on an overhead distribution line resulted in 324 customers losing power in the Shingle Barn Lane area at 4.47 this morning.
The company's engineers restored power to 265 of the homes within eight minutes, but 59 homes are still currently without power.
A spokesman said: "We understand how difficult it is being without electricity and we are sorry for any inconvenience caused. We are working hard to restore power to the remaining homes."
