Police issue warning to horse owners following burglaries at stables in Mereworth and Trottiscliffe

Horse owners have been warned to be vigilant after equipment was stolen in two separate burglaries in Malling.
One theft occurred at a stables in Mereworth, between 7pm on Saturday and 8.30am yesterday.
Numerous horse rugs and head collars were stolen in the incident and damage caused.
Another burglary was reported to have happened between 9pm on Sunday and 7am yesterday at a stables in Taylors Lane, Trottiscliffe.
Two saddles worth £2,000 were taken along with four bridles valued at £600.
