A TANKER carrying waste water crashed onto its side, felling a lamppost, as it drove around a roundabout.
The accident happened shortly before noon, at the junction of King Street and Sittingbourne Road, Maidstone.
A small amount of diesel fuel spilt onto the road as the tanker toppled to its left onto the pavement.
The driver suffered only minor injuries and no-one else was hurt in the accident. Police have closed off one lane of the junction until the vehicle has been recovered.
It is not yet known what caused the accident.
