A bathroom water heater caused a fire in a Tonbridge home last night.
Two fire engines were called to a two storey house in Judd Road at 8.15pm on Wednesday night.
Firefighters entered the house in breathing apparatus and spent half an hour extinguishing the fire, which started in a bathroom water heater.
Around 80% of the heater was destroyed by fire and the whole bathroom was damaged by smoke.
After tackling the blaze, crews carried out a leaflet drop to neighbouring properties offering home fire safety advice.
They left the scene at around 9pm.
