If you or your loved ones have received great hospital care now could be the moment to shout about it.
The Kent Messenger wants to find the Hospital Hero 2017.
Nominations apply to staff, volunteers or entire wards at the Maidstone or Tunbridge Wells hospitals, or those working in the community, on behalf of the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust.
Last year’s winner was lung specialist Dr Leon D’Cruz who works in the respiratory research department at Maidstone Hospital.
The research associate was praised for the support and care he gives, including arranging seminars for those with lung problems and being instrumental in setting up the Kent Lung Awareness charity.
Dr D’Cruz also flew abroad twice to get the right training on complex equipment, picking up the cost himself.
To nominate email mgraham@thekmgroup.co.uk, or click on the link at the top of this story. You can also write to Mary Graham, Hospital Hero Award, Kent Messenger, 6 & 7 Middle Row, Maidstone, ME14 1TG.
Nominations close at 5pm on Thursday, November 2 and winners will be announced at a ceremony later that month.
