An 81-year-old woman has died in hospital after her car overturned in a crash with a lorry.
Officers are now renewing their appeal for information into the incident on Tuesday, November 20 and have issued photographs of the truck they want to locate.
Kent Police was called at 12.13pm after a silver Citroen C3 was flipped over near the top of Detling Hill on the Sittingbourne-bound carriageway of the A249.
It is believed to have collided with the pictured lorry, which did not stop at the scene.
Ambulance crews took the two occupants of the car to the hospital, where one of the casualties, an 81-year-old woman from Redhill, Surrey, subsequently died on Monday.
Sergeant Peter Greaves of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: "We urgently need to locate the lorry involved in this collision in order to speak to the driver, who may not have realised they had been involved in a collision.
"Anyone who recognises the vehicle or who knows where it may have been travelling to is urged to get in touch. We would also like to speak to anyone who may have noticed or repaired any damage that had been caused to the vehicle as a result of the collision.
"Witnesses to the incident itself, anyone with dashcam footage or anyone who saw either vehicle prior to the incident is also encouraged to come forward.
"Please call 01622 798538 quoting reference MC/DH/161/18 or email sciu.td@kent.pnn.police.uk."
