Maidstone: Police arrest Bonni Draper after man stabbed in leg in Brenchley Gardens off Station Road

A woman has been arrested after a man was stabbed in the leg in Maidstone town centre.
Police were called to Brenchley Gardens off Station Road at 5pm on Thursday, after reports of an assault.
The victim suffered a thigh injury, which is not reported to be serious.
He received medical attention at the scene but declined further treatment.
Bonni Draper, 24, of Church Street in Maidstone was subsequently arrested in Buckland Hill on suspicion of assault.
She is known to the victim and has been charged with possessing a bladed article in a public place, assault and a public order offence.
Draper appeared at Maidstone Magistrates' Court on Friday, where she pleaded not guilty.
The case will next be heard at the town's crown court on Friday, September 30.
It came the day after a teenage girl was stabbed in the stomach during a brawl in Mill Street. A 14-year-old boy was arrested following that offence.
