Woman attacked in car in Maidstone

A woman required hospital treatment after being violently attacked whilst sitting in her car.
Police are investigating allegations that a woman approached a vehicle in Pear Tree Lane in Maidstone, opened the door and assaulted a woman inside.
The victim, aged in her 20s, got out of her car and suffered further blows, before getting back in her and driving away.
She suffered a deep cut to her head and bruising and attended a local hospital for medical attention.
The incident happened between 8.50am and 9.10am on Thursday, September 20.
Police believe the victim and her assailant are known to each other.
