Woman drivewr 'critical' after crash

A WOMAN car driver from West Malling is fighting for her life in hospital after she was injured in a two-vehicle crash at an accident blackspot.
The driver, who has not been identified, was travelling with a female passenger in a red Rover 200.
The car was involved in a collision with a maroon Land Rover Discovery, in Seven Mile Lane, East Peckham, near Maidstone, at about 6.40pm on Sunday. The two women were trapped in the Rover and had to be cut free by Kent Fire and Rescue Service.
Both were taken to Maidstone Hospital. The driver required surgery and her condition is described as "critical".
The condition of the passenger is described as stable.
