There were delays on a notorious route yesterday after a woman was hit by a motorcycle.

The pedestrian was crossing Hermitage Lane in Maidstone when the accident happened.

Police were called around 4.15pm, and paramedics also attended.

The woman was treated at the scene for minor injuries before being taken to nearby Maidstone Hospital for further checks.
