Woman in hospital after two-car crash in Maidstone

A woman has been taken to hospital with minor injuries after a crash earlier today.
Penenden Heath Road was closed for more than an hour after two Vauxhalls collided near the junction with Sittingbourne Road.
Police were called at 11.45am.
A police spokesman said: "Officers and ambulance crews attended and a woman was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The road was reopen by 1.05pm."
