Woman injured in Tunbridge Wells after bus smashes into shelter in Mount Pleasant Road

A woman has been injured after a bus hit a shelter in Tunbridge Wells this afternoon.
She was treated at the scene after the vehicle smashed into the structure in Mount Pleasant Road at about 1pm.
Paramedics treated the woman who was hurt by shattered glass, but did not need to take her to hospital.
It happened close to the NatWest bank - an area often busy with pedestrians at lunchtime.
Police officers remained at the scene this afternoon dealing with the damage and shattered glass.
A South East Coast Ambulance Service spokesman said it sent and ambulance and car to the scene.
