Woman injured in bus accident

A pedestrian was badly injured in an accident with a bus in Maidstone.
The woman was taken to a London hospital following a collision involving the DAF yellow single decker bus on Saturday.
The accident happened at 1.50pm in London Road, near Queens Road. The woman is said to live in the Maidstone area.
Police say they would like to speak to anyone who was in the area who may have witnessed the collision, or anyone who has any information.
The air ambulance attended and the road was closed whilst officers examined the scene and the bus was removed. A contraflow was put into place by officers to keep traffic moving.
