Penenden Heath: Woman freed after two-car crash in Woodcut near Maidstone

Firefighters rescued a woman left trapped in a car following a two-car crash in Penenden Heath, near Maidstone this morning.
The crash happened in Woodcut near the junction with Becksbourne Close just after 10am. The accident blocked access into and out of the close.
Crews from two fire engines used hydraulic rescue equipment to remove the roof of the car.
The woman was released and passed into the care of an ambulance crew. No one else is thought to have been injured.
