Firefighters winch a car off an elderly woman after she was knocked down in Langley near Maidstone.

An elderly woman had to be freed by firefighters after she was trapped underneath a car.
The pedestrian and a man, both believed to be in their 70s, were struck by the vehicle in Langley, Maidstone, today.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Copperfield Drive, off Horseshoes Lane, at 10.15am.
Crews arrived in two fire engines and winched the vehicle off the female patient. Both of the casualties were treated by South East Coast Ambulance.
The area was cleared by 10.40am.
