Crash in Loose Road, Maidstone: driver in ‘serious but stable’ condition

A young woman is in a “serious but stable condition” in hospital after a car crash.
She was driving a Citroen C1 in Loose Road near the junction with Plains Avenue in Maidstone yesterday at around 1.30pm when she collided with a black Suzuki S-Cross.
The driver, in her 20s, was taken to a local hospital and remains there in a “serious but stable condition”, according to police.
Officers are now urging anyone who saw the crash to come forward.
Anyone who may have recorded the collision on their dashcam or doorbell camera, or the manner of driving in the moments leading up to the incident, is being asked to get in touch.
