Sexual assault investigation after attack on Maidstone riverside footpath

A woman was sexually assaulted as she walked along a riverside path in Maidstone and police are appealing for information.
It happened on a footpath by the River Medway at around 4.30pm on Wednesday, May 18.
As the victim was walking between Clifford Way and the Tovil footbridge, two men spoke to her and are then alleged to have inappropriately touched her over her clothing.
Both men are described as black and aged about 23.
One was 5ft and 7in, slim and wore black trousers and a green top.
The second was 6ft, stocky and wore black clothing.
PC James Cregan, said: "We have been exploring a number of lines of inquiry, including forensic and CCTV opportunities, and are now appealing for any information that may assist our investigation.
"Residents living nearby with doorbell cameras and other home security systems who haven't yet spoken to the police, are also urged to check for any footage which may assist the investigation."
