Van and a horsebox crash on Pilgrims Way in Thurnham, Maidstone

A horsebox has collided with a van in Thurnham leaving at least one woman injured.
Police officers were called to Thurnham, in Maidstone, at 3.20pm today, to the crash on Pilgrim's Way, at the crossroads for Castle Hill and Thurnham Lane.
The air ambulance was called and the driver of the horsebox was treated at the scene, but the woman was taken to hospital by road.
Her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
The horsebox was carrying one animal, which was not believed to have been injured in the accident.
The road is closed in both directions while both vehicles are recovered.
