Air ambulance called to medical emergency in Shepway near Maidstone

A woman was flown to hospital following a fall at home in Maidstone yesterday.
The air ambulance landed in Shepway shortly before 4.30pm following a request from land-based paramedics.
The patient was treated at the scene by the helicopter's doctors before being airlifted to King's College Hospital in London, with head, upper arm and lower leg injuries.
The helicopter landed in a nearby park.
While her condition is unknown, she is thought to still be in hospital.
