BMW fire spreads to apple crates in Linton Hill near Maidstone

A car fire which spread to a large number of apple crates is being treated as an arson attack.
Emergency services were called to Linton Hill near Maidstone at around midnight where the car, thought to be a BMW X6, was on fire.
Five fire engines attended as well as a bulk water carrier unit and technical rescue.
No injuries were reported and the cause is not yet known.
The fire is believed to have been started deliberately and detectives are carrying out a number of enquiries including reviewing CCTV footage in the area.
