Attack at BP garage in London Road, Allington left worker with fractured eye socket

A worker at a petrol garage was left with a fractured eye socket following a sustained assault by a customer.
The attack happened at a BP garage in London Road, Allington on March 30.
The member of staff was repeatedly punched in the face leaving him with a fractured eye socket.
A 23-year-old man has since been charged in connection with the incident.
Police arrested Patrick O’Donoghue in Coldharbour Lane, Aylesford on December 20.
He was taken into custody and later charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm.
He was further charged with offences carried out on 20 December including possessing an offensive weapon (a knuckle duster), driving while disqualified, and driving without insurance.
Donoghue was remanded to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court today (Dec 22).
