A fire broke out in a wardrobe workshop in Maidstone during the early hours of the morning.
Four fire engines and a bulk water carrier were called to tackle the blaze at the Kent Wardrobes commercial building in Gravelly Bottom Road, Kingswood at about 2.20am.
The building has been totally destroyed by the flames.
The workshop is occupied by the Kent Wardrobes business.
The firm supply and fit custom made wardrobes of all sizes and styles.
Motorists should avoid the area while crews deal with the fire and people living nearby are being advised to close windows and doors due to smoke plumes.
It is understood the building may have suffered a break-in before the blaze broke out.
Firefighters are still at the scene and officers from Kent Police have closed the road.
Police have since launched an investigation to establish the cause of the fire.
