Jake Embery is likely to follow Maidstone team-mate Ibrahim Olutade in going out on loan.
Striker Embery made his comeback from a broken collarbone in United's 3-1 defeat at Dorking on Saturday.
He was introduced midway through the second half but head of football John Still feels he may need games elsewhere to regain match fitness.
Still said: "We thought we'd put him on but he's a little bit behind and I don't want him to get injured again.
"We'll perhaps get him some loan stuff I think for a little while."
Summer signing Olutade featured in an extraordinary game after rejoining former club Leatherhead on loan.

Still said: "Ibby started slowly with us, which is not his fault.
"The pre-season killed him a little bit where he hadn't done it before but that's OK.
"We feel he's fit now and because he's fit and can train properly, we want him to go and get some games.
"He's quick, he's bright, he's lively, but he hadn't been.
"He'd been lagging behind in training but in the last two weeks he's really picked up and we just think he needs a few games."
Still is ready to start implementing changes after assessing his squad over first six weeks of the season.
He said: "We actually know what we need to do but we can't do it in one fell swoop - we've got to do it gradually.
"Finance comes into it - we've got a certain amount of players so we need to find a way to move some on - but that's part of the job."
As for potential targets, Still added: "I know exactly who I want. I do."
