THE BBC is bringing the FA Cup to Maidstone on Wednesday. The famous trophy will be brought to the county town by the production team of Football Focus who will film a three minute preview piece to broadcast during Saturday's programme.
The BBC has chosen Maidstone United's extra preliminary round tie away at Ramsgate to launch this year's Road to Cardiff feature and presenter Ivan Gaskell will be in the town to interview chairman Paul Bowden-Brown, manager Jim Ward and director of football Steve Butler.
The cup tie will kick-off at 12.30pm live on the BBC on Saturday and the goals will be shown as soon as they happen, either during Football Focus or Grandstand.
