Ditton player Barry Hawkins is through to the semi-finals of the World Snooker Championship at the Crucible.
Hawkins, pictured, has previously never made it past round two in Sheffield and followed up his second-round victory over world No.1 Mark Selby by knocking out Chinese star Ding Junhui 13-7.
The Australian Open champion led 9-7 overnight Tuesday and rattled off four straight frames on Wednesday morning.
Breaks of 64 and 60 ended Ding's resistance as Hawkins set up a semi-final against Ricky Walden or Michael White.
