Maidstone captain Steve Watt likely to miss Ryman League Premier Division clash with VCD but could be fit for FA Cup tie at Wrexham

Captain Steve Watt has had a scan on the thigh injury that kept him out of Maidstone’s FA Cup win over Stevenage.
He’s set to miss the Ryman League Premier Division home game against VCD on Saturday but could face Wrexham next weekend.
Second-placed Stones have fallen seven points behind leaders Margate – albeit with four games in hand – and boss Jay Saunders admits the FA Cup has affected their league campaign.
Hendon are only a point behind, having played a game more and United know the importance of beating VCD.
Saunders said: It’s a massive game. We’ve got to get three points on the board and put pressure on Margate.
“I know Hendon have caught up but they’re in the FA Trophy on Saturday, so it’s important we open up a bit of a gap on them."
Striker Jay May is likely to start after his successful appeal against a three-game ban.
