Milford wins Kent Open golf

MAIDSTONE golfer Tim Milford, based at Tudor Park Golf Club, won the Kent Open tournament at Littlestone, finishing two shots clear.
Milford, on six under, Chislehurst’s Andrew Butterfield on four under, and Ashford’s Benn Barham on nine under, were the only three to finish under par.
The tournament was played over two days and consisted of three rounds.
Bearsted’s Danielle Masters dropped to fourth in the English Women’s Amateur Close Championship qualifiers after a 76.
