Maidstone boss Jay Saunders is surprised nobody has come in for any of his FA Cup stars.

Gillingham manager Peter Taylor praised Alex Flisher while working as a pundit for BT Sport in the replay win against Stevenage but there have been no offers.

Stones have won plenty of admirers during their run and will be on television again when BBC2 Wales broadcast Saturday's second-round tie at Wrexham.

Saunders said: "I said after Stevenage, when you've got the likes of Aaron Simpson playing right-back as a 17-year-old in a big game, that people have got to take notice. I don't see why they wouldn't.

"But I've honestly not had one phone call, which I find surprising.

"You normally find when a non-league team have a cup run that players get a move on the back of it.

"Peter Taylor was quite open about how much he liked Flish but liking someone and making a move are very different."
