John Still says he won't put a value on in-form Maidstone midfielder Saidou Khan.

Both Still and head coach Hakan Hayrettin have tipped Khan for a big future in recent weeks.

He further enhanced his reputation with his performance and goal in the FA Cup at Blackpool and it would be no surprise if clubs are looking.

Stones head of football Still said: "I wouldn't put a value on him because I think he's still improving.

"If he carries on doing the work he's being given he will carry on improving.

"You look at someone and think he can do this and that and all of a sudden you think he can do a bit more.

"What I've been impressed with is whatever we've given him that we think will help him improve, he gets on with it and works hard at it.

"Our intention on Sunday was to get him further forward because he's got that ability to pick up the ball and run past people.

"That's a hard skill in the modern game, to run with the ball without dribbling past people.

"Trevor Brooking used to do it at West Ham where he'd pick up the ball and just glide past people, and Kevin De Bruyne does it.

"It's a hard skill, it really is, but it can take two, three, four, five, six, seven players out of the game.

"All of a sudden there's two or three midfielders out of the game, and two or three defenders out of the game because you've run past them.

"It's a dying skill but he's shown he has that capability.

"He does it against National South sides, he's done it against a National League side when we played Torquay in the FA Cup and now he's done it against a Div 1 side in Blackpool.

"He's done it against all sorts of players.

"He has to keep growing and it will be for other people to decide when they think he could do it for their club.

"When that time comes, we'll know his value."
