Jack Parkinson's FA Cup ban comes with the Maidstone midfielder bang in form and the fans on side.

Parkinson serves a one-game ban at Wrexham next weekend and will be missed as Stones look for a second-round upset.

He's been one of Stones' best players and appears to have won over supporters who criticised him earlier this season.

Frustrated Parkinson said: "I've finally started to hit a little bit of form at the right time, especially in the bigger games.

"Sometimes there are certain games where you expect to play well and want to test yourself, like Welling and the two against Stevenage.

"The crowd seem to be going my way a bit more now too.

"It's cost me a few quid having my family going round paying people!

"No, I do seem to have won them over a bit.

"It never got to me too much and most of the crowd have been great.

"In my eyes nothing's changed. I think my performances have warranted a little bit more credit and long may it continue."
