Maidstone Rugby Club are only three wins away from a Twickenham final.
The next challenge in their Intermediate Cup campaign is a regional semi-final at London 2 North East side Diss on Saturday.
Diss are joint-top of their league but have lost four games, whereas Maidstone remain unbeaten in London 2 South East.
The visitors are at full strength and driven on by the prospect of a Twickenham final.
Coach Paul Hathaway said: “All the guys know where this road leads to. It’s a big motivation for anyone to play at Twickenham. We’re not far away but we can’t take our eye off the ball.
“You can have all the conversations you like about Twickenham but it’s about the here and now. We have to perform on Saturday.
“Diss are top of their league so it’s important we go there with the right intensity and focus and maintain our concentration for 80 minutes.
“The standard we’ve reached has generally been too strong in our own league but you don’t know what will happen in a cup game.
“You only need to win by one point. It’s not like the league, where you are looking for bonus points.”
