Greenwich 0 Maidstone United 5
MAIDSTONE United moved into top spot in the Go Travel Kent League with an easy win at lowly Greenwich Borough.
This game was over as a contest early on after as striker Richard Sinden helped himself to a hat-trick with goals in the seventh, 14th and 15th minute. He then missed a penalty on 24 minutes.
Captain Paul Foley added a fourth on the stroke of half time when he headed home a Paul Ribbens cross and Foley notched the fifth on the hour when he converted a Jamie Kempster cross.
The win was the perfect preparation for Maidstone's return to the FA Cup after 11 years at Ramsgate next Saturday in a match which launches the BBC's Road To Cardiff feature on Football Focus.
