19:55, 20 January 2024

Callum Peck’s brilliant volley from the edge of the area put Lordswood ahead but Larkfield levelled through Tyler Ibe’s bullet finish. They were ahead by the break as Ibe’s free-kick from 30 yards caught out keeper Hadley Glock.

Leading scorer Matt Day scored their third from close range just before the hour mark before Kwasi Amoah sealed the win with a neat right-foot finish.

Croydon progressed last week, Erith Town and Snodland will try again on Tuesday night after a frozen pitch saw their clash postponed while the final tie saw Whitstable take on Faversham Strike Force.

Another upset was on the cards when Marshall Wratten put the Force ahead early in the second half but Emmanuel Oloyede’s equaliser meant the tie went to extra-time.

Whitstable progressed 3-1 in front of 528 at The Belmont thanks to two goals in three minutes from Liam Gillies and Josh Williams.

In league action, Glebe won 2-0 at Faversham as the top two went head-to-head - read the match report from Salters Lane here.

Former Dover manager Mitch Brundle scored his first goal for Lydd and it proved the winner in a 2-1 success at Holmesdale, who had led through Sam Bayford’s first-half penalty.

Harvey Welford scored the only goal of the game as Hollands & Blair got their first win of the calendar year, 1-0 at home to Sutton Athletic.

Just two points separate the bottom five sides. Welling Town are now bottom after losing 2-1 at Stansfeld, who moved up to 17th after winning 2-1.

Welling led through Billy Robins before Mayo Olufeko and Tommy Whitnell turned the game around.

VCD eased their fears of being dragged into the relegation battle as a Michael Fenn brace was enough to secure a 2-0 home win over Kennington.

The top two sides in Division 1 also met with hosts and leaders AFC Whyteleafe held 2-2 at home by Rochester, for whom Max Morgan and George Wady scored.
