Stones boss prepares for 'massive game'

MAIDSTONE United boss Jim Ward will wait until Saturday morning before deciding on his starting 11 for Stones'opening game in the new Go Travel Kent League season.
Maidstone's opponents at their new home on pitch one at Central Park are Cray Wanderers one of their rivals for the title and, more importantly, promotion to the Dr Martens League.
Ward stressed: "This is a massive game for us because Cray are second favourites for the league. I have yet to decide to play two or three strikers but Steve Butler will play."
This could mean either last season's top scorer Richard Sinden or fellow striker Steve Marshall will start on the bench.
Ward has a selection problem Stones go into this crucial game without new signing Michael Cassar who broke his leg in last weekend's 3-0 friendly win over landlords Sittingbourne, while captain Paul Foley who is unavailable. Kick-off is at 3pm.
