Maidstone United's National League South game at Eastbourne Borough called off due to Covid-19 case

Maidstone’s National South game at Eastbourne Borough tomorrow has been postponed due to a positive Covid test in the home camp.
It’s a third successive match off for the Stones since beating Poole Town in the FA Trophy last weekend.
They’ve been given a walkover to the last 32 of the FA Trophy after Frome opted not to travel to the Gallagher for Wednesday night’s third-round tie, citing safety concerns over Covid.
The Boxing Day derby at Tonbridge was postponed after an Angels player tested positive for coronavirus.
And the trip to Eastbourne has followed in light of a positive test, announced by the Sports on Twitter this afternoon.
The tweet said: “The scheduled fixture on the 28th December between Eastbourne Borough and Maidstone United has been postponed due to a positive Covid-19 test result in our camp.
“A period of self isolation will now be undertaken and further updates will follow in due course.”
The Stones said: “We wish the person affected a trouble-free recovery.”
The latest postponement means Maidstone haven't played a league game since a 2-2 draw at Dorking on December 1, having been hit by Covid themselves.
Dover also announced this afternoon that their National League match at Sutton is off after a U's player tested positive.
