MAIDSTONE United chairman Paul Bowden Brown was today having showdown talks on fixture congestion with the Kent League.
The Stones will have to play Cray Wanderers twice in three days over the May Bank Holiday Weekend, a situation Bowden Brown described as “farcical”.
He said: “I’m having a meeting with the league today and I’m going to let rip. It’s a farce what they’re doing to us.
"They are asking Cray and ourselves to play on Saturday and Monday to maybe win the league and it’s totally unprofessional.”
