Maidstone have signed defender Ryan Galvin on loan from League 1 giants Sheffield Wednesday.
The left-back has been training with the Stones and could make his debut at home to Wealdstone in the National League tonight after the clubs agreed a two-month loan deal.
Stones boss Hakan Hayrettin is a friend of Wednesday manager Darren Moore, having played together at Torquay and Doncaster.
Galvin, 21, has played twice for the Owls first team this season, making substitute appearances in a 3-0 League Cup win against Rochdale and a 3-1 Football League Trophy defeat at Bradford.
He had a loan spell at National North club Gloucester last season.
The left-back area has been a troublesome position for the Stones this season.
With Jerome Binnom-Williams and Raphe Brown out injured, they signed Liam Vincent on an initial one-month loan deal from Portsmouth.
But he was substituted at half-time on his debut and made only one more appearance from the bench before returning to Fratton Park.
Gavin Hoyte has moved across from right-back to help out but Hayrettin ideally wants the skipper in his natural position.
