MAIDSTONE UNITED top scorer Richard Sinden and defender Steve Coatham signed two-year contracts with the club this week. Their decision means chairman Paul Bowden-Brown now has nine players signed on medium-term contracts as the club pushes for promotion to the Dr Martens League, writes Steve Hemsley.
Bowden-Brown has also agreed a transfer fee of £1,100 with Hythe and Whitstable for Stones' record signing Steve Jones and the striker will decide next week which club he wants to join.
On Saturday Stones travel to Beckenham for a Bass Brewers Kent League Cup, second round, tie (Kick off 3pm). This match has taken precedence over the scheduled top-of-the-table clash with league leaders VCD at Central Park.
Jim Ward has no injury worries but he must decide whether Sinden or new signing Steve Marshall will partner Steve Butler in attack.
