Former Gillingham and Dartford defender Richard Rose makes loan move to Maidstone United

Maidstone United have signed former Gillingham defender Richard Rose on a two-month loan deal from Whitehawk.
The 31-year-old can play anywhere across the back four and is likely to make his debut when Stones play Enfield at home on Saturday.
United boss Jay Saunders, who also signed Tunbridge Wells striker Jack Harris this week, said: "Richard played a lot of games in the Championship with Gillingham.
"He gives us experience and cover in a lot of positions - right-back, left-back, centre-half and he can also play centre-midfield.
"He played 40-odd games in the Conference for Dartford last year before moving to Whitehawk.
"Unfortunately he got injured in pre-season and it hasn't worked out there. We've got him on loan for two months with a view to a permanent move."
