Maidstone have signed midfielder Dan Sweeney from Ryman League Premier Division leaders Dulwich Hamlet.

Stones boss Jay Saunders made a seven-day approach for Sweeney on Friday night and was given permission by Hamlet to speak to the player straight away.

Sweeney, who has attracted Football League interest, only joined Dulwich in October, scoring six goals in his first six games.

He’ll be available to make his debut at Hayes & Yeading next weekend, along with fellow new signing Vas Karagiannis, who joined on Thursday.
