Maidstone Rugby Club celebrate London 2 South East title success

Maidstone Rugby Club clinched the London 2 South East title on Saturday.
They beat Crowborough 50-17 at The Mote to secure a second promotion in three years.
The game also saw Maidstone pass 150 tries and chalk up 1,000 points for the season.
Nick Bunyan drove over for the opening try, converted by Ben Pitkin, then Jonno Skelton added the second score after Jason Smith was held up short of the line.
Boro replied with a converted score but tries by Joel Byford and Jamie Perigo, plus a Pitkin conversion opened up a 24-7 lead.
Crowborough showed how dangerous they could be in possession by cutting Maidstone's half-time advantage to 24-12.
Twickenham-bound Maidstone made a bright start to the second half with Perigo's second try leaving a simple conversion for Pitkin.
Olly Newton crossed unopposed, man-of-the-match Smith converting, then Matt Davies drove over for 43-12.
Maidstone completed their tally when Lucien Morosan scurried over and Smith converted.
Crowborough added their third try, while Maidstone finished with 13 men as Perigo was yellow-carded before Morosan saw red.
