Tonbridge Angels are heading to Belgium as part of their pre-season schedule this summer.
The Conference South club will cross the Channel for a game manager Tommy Warrilow hopes will strengthen team spirit.
Angels have already brought in several new players since the end of the season and Warrilow is eager for his squad to gel quickly.
He said: “One of the directors has got contacts out there and we’ve agreed to go for a weekend to play a Belgian side.
“I want to get the lads away and get them close, a bit of bonding work. Any time away together helps.”
The opposition and date have yet to be confirmed but Tonbridge will be in Belgium over the weekend of July 19-21. Angels have also arranged friendlies against Tunbridge Wells (home, July 13), Maidstone (home, July 25), Dartford (home, July 27), Folkestone (away, July 30) and Whitstable (away August 3).
Scott Chalmers-Stevens has signed on as a player at Longmead and will also serve as goalkeeping coach.
