A goal in either half from captain Jake Gallagher and man-of-the-match Tyrone Marsh fired Welling to a second successive Tuesday night win in Vanarama Conference.
Welling, beaten at Wrexham on Saturday, built on the 2-1 win over Braintree at Park View Road a week earlier with a dominant display against a Lincoln side who had picked up just one win in five games.
On-loan Oxford forward Marsh was to the fore with his best display yet in a Welling shirt, capped by his first Wings goal.
Welling started on the frontfoot. Harry Beautyman's second-minute free-kick was headed clear and then Tobi Sho-Silva's pull back failed to pick out a team-mate.
Lincoln did not stem the flow of attack as Sho-Silva shot wide and Marsh also went close from distance in the opening exchanges.
Sho-Silva should have opened the scoring on 18 minutes. His sublime touch to control Barney Williams' pass gave him time and space in front of goal but he fluffed his lines and keeper Nick Townsend was able to gather.
Sean Newton went into the book for a cynical trip on Marsh and Welling made Lincoln pay form the resulting free-kick on 25 minutes. Beautyman's delivery again caused danger and Gallagher swept home from close range after the nod down.
Welling should have had the game sewn up by half-time. The dangerous Sho-Silva, who gave Lincoln's back four a tough evening, raced clean through but saw his shot deflected wide. From the resulting corner, Jamal Fyfield's volley was beaten away and then Beautyman's returned cross-shot was tipped out by Townsend.
The game was more even after the break, though Welling lost Sho-Silva to injury early on.
Lincoln should have levelled just past the hour but Jordan Burrow's left-foot shot went well wide when handily placed.
Welling went even close with 14 minutes left as left-back Ben Jefford exchanged passes with Marsh before arrowing a low left-foot shot inches beyond the far post.
But the Wings did make it 2-0 two minutes later as Marsh, allowed to play on despite having his shirt pulled back, cut in from the right and sent a low shot beyond the dive of Townsend.
There was still time for late bookings for substitute Joe Healy and Loui Fazakerley, although the latter nearly made it 3-0 in stoppage time as his right-foot shot from 20 yards was turned behind by Townsend.
Welling: Henly, Williams, Fyfield, Bush, Jefford, Fagan (Corne 58mins), Gallagher, Beautyman, Hudson (Fazakerley 77mins), Sho-Silva (Healy 55mins), Marsh, Subs not used: Turner, Baselle. Attendance: 504.
