Maidstone United manager Jay Saunders can't understand why Ryman League players would want an agent
12:14, 26 November 2014
Maidstone boss Jay Saunders has no interest in dealing with agents at Ryman League level.
He was considering his options before Jay May's appeal against a three-game ban was successful. But interest ended when agents were brought up.
Saunders said: "Where I thought Jay was going to be out for three games I was just seeing what was about.
"I spoke to a couple of players and they asked me to speak to their agents.
"Each to their own but I don't get it. We're Ryman level.
"You can imagine what my response was - I didn't have too long a conversation with them."
